Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 4888 Name: Ocean Odyssey
*
4888-1 (Inv) Ocean Odyssey
623 Parts, 2005
Sets: Designer Sets: Harbor

* Delete 2 Part 4032 Black Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole (match ID 2)
* Add 3 Part 3747b Dark Bluish Gray Slope, Inverted 33 3 x 2 with Connections between Studs (Alternate) (match ID 2)
* Change 3 Part Dark Bluish Gray 3747a Slope, Inverted 33 3 x 2 without Connections between Studs {match ID 0 to 2}
* Change 1 Part Yellow {30389b Hinge Brick 2 x 2 Locking with 1 Finger Vertical and Axle Hole (+ Shape) to 30389c Hinge Brick 2 x 2 Locking with 1 Finger Vertical and Axle Hole (x Shape)}
* Change 2 Part Black 4032b Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole (x Shape) {Alternate to Regular} {match ID 2 to 0}

Comments from Submitter:
Pics following.
I had checked this set a few months ago for undetermined parts, but this time I looked a bit closer for all possible variants.
Notes:
- My set has 3747a and 3747b and also the light gray plate which is already included in the alternate items section.
- It looks like some copies came with 1x

Part No: x71 Name: Rubber Belt Small (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 2 x 2
*
x71 Rubber Belt Small (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 2 x 2
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt {White}
(see https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1856227 ) and others, like mine, came with 2x

Part No: x151 Name: Rubber Band Extra Small (Square Cross Section)
*
x151 Rubber Band Extra Small (Square Cross Section)
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt {Yellow}
instead, so maybe one yellow rubber band should be an "alternate extra" part?

makes me suspicious of a redesign at some point.

My set has these alternate parts in both colors, but I'm not sure if it is
really a redesign - I think I would rather call it a (temporary?) parts substitution.
The alternate parts are shown on an additional leaflet. There are other sets
from that time (around 2005/2006) with similiar "redesigns" which I guess where
not made to improve anything but just because the correct parts were not in stock
for some time. Maybe this had something to do with the outsourcing project.

According to our guidelines, this is in fact a redesign. See

Set No: 8778 Name: Border Ambush
*
8778-1 (Inv) Border Ambush
167 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 3 Gear, 2004
Sets: Castle: Knights Kingdom II
and its inventory note as just one example of this.

Ah okay, I didn't know there are already precedents for this in the catalog.
