| I don't it is another system, but is there any method to stick a module piece
onto regular system?

A modulex 1x1 brick will not go on a pin, I guess?

I may just not be able to do it, but what I wanted to do was added Modulex colors
to my color chart. I have a 1x1 and a 2x2. None of the techniques I saw in
this thread will work for me, I think.

Can you not attach the 1x1 M bricks into a clip? They wouldn't be upright
but at least they'd be attached.

They couldn't stand side by side because the clip is going to hold it crooked.

Yes, 2×3 fits under x×2 normal at end if hasn't ribs, so = older or plate.
1×3's also fit 1×2's with no pillars.
