I was going through the catalog and saw a LOT of people want these heads in light
nougat:

Part No: 3626bpsc Name: Minifigure, Head Alien with SW Gray Eyebrows, Implant on Back Pattern (Lobot) - Blocked Open Stud
*
3626bpsc Minifigure, Head Alien with SW Gray Eyebrows, Implant on Back Pattern (Lobot) - Blocked Open Stud
Parts: Minifigure, Head

Part No: 3626bpx48 Name: Minifigure, Head Female with Red Lips Wide, Small Black Eyes, Thin Eyebrows Pattern (SW Padme) - Blocked Open Stud
*
3626bpx48 Minifigure, Head Female with Red Lips Wide, Small Black Eyes, Thin Eyebrows Pattern (SW Padme) - Blocked Open Stud
Parts: Minifigure, Head

But the color light nougat wasn't released until 2004, 2 years after the
Lobot head and 4 years after the Padme head. So how would those prints exist
on light nougat, and why are so many people keeping an eye out for an impossible
piece? Have they been seen before and have become famous?

Thanks,
Stephan

So people read the catalog wrong and mistook the older heads for the newer ones?
That's a lot of people making the same rookie mistake... I have faith in
people's ability to add the right Lobot and Padme heads to their wanted list

Sylvain is right, hope has no cost, but I still think there has to be an explanation
better than "nearly 150 people are wildly hoping this print on an impossible
color turns up." The number is too high to be a coincidence, it seems to me...

They may just be prepared for the sellers to make the mistake

Sometimes MOCs only have those prints as an option, and the programs used allow
it in non-existent colors for them. People may have accidentally added them when
parting out a MOC

Actually don't think that I've heard a more plausible explanation for
it before, insightful.

Well done, fan of Bulbasaur!

Oh! I'm sorry. I forgot this forum is only for Inventory change requests
and identification of that one watch part! 😁

Makes sense to me! I accept it as absolute truth Thanks for the insight, I
completely forgot about program model wanted lists. Hopefully those people sort
out their lists someday.
