So I find that each time I listed a minifig that was brand new, but missing a
part like an accessory that was in the picture of the fig, like a shoulder piece
or cape, BL in the next day or so would remove it. We can't list figs as
new but incomplete or complete because BL never was set up like that. So BL
deleted my fig post saying it was against the rules but of course no explanation.
Do we really have to list a brand new fig as used, or as parts when it's
missing something like a cape or skirt???

When it gets deleted so quickly, does that mean that another member reported
it quickly to admins to get it removed? Someone said it's the new BL algorithm
that did it automatically, but that can't be true because I see other sellers
figs that are missing parts but still listed as new. So am I being singled out
by someone following me and reporting anything I do just to be a jerk?

Thanks in advance.

Incomplete Minifigs - All minifigs, both New and Used, must be listed
as Complete. Incomplete minifigs should be broken down and listed
as parts, or listed in the custom items section with a custom photo and clear
description.

No algorithm is perfect so somethings may get missed. You can certainly report
any other listing you see.

It's been discussed on here for the last month.

on please??? Did this happen just because I posted this question today?

I will not list figs as parts because FIG PARTS RARELY SELL!!!

WE NEED TO DEFINE MINIFIGS AS COMPLETE, OR INCOMPLETE LIKE SETS!

Is the community of people who helped build Bricklink, like myself, now pushed
aside and not heard in order to make OUR site better? Or is it now fully TLG
property and we have no say?

A companies decisions are based on my factors. Most likely this decision is based
on what benefits the most.

For my store minifig parts sell easier than complete minifigs. Don't worry,
parting out should be fine

Btw, local kindergardens love to get those yellowed parts

Surprising statement. I sell them all the time, while my minifigs lie around
forever and I need to mark them down even after years - while minifig parts only
go up in value. Especially parts from licensed figs sell like wildfire, even
if I overprice the current average price by 25% they are often gone in a week.

Sorry, maybe you missed the memo, but, by administrative edict, that rule is
no longer in effect.

See the precedent here:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1224882

and note the many instances since then, especially below, where it has not enforced.

I'm just highlighting the inconsistencies, not only between different parts
of the site, but even here in the forum. Does anyone care about that? Do you
care? Depending on who you are and when you post, you can sometimes get away
with some vile stuff. I see that the thread in the second link I posted still
remains unmoderated.

that did it automatically, but that can't be true because I see other sellers
figs that are missing parts but still listed as new. So am I being singled out
by someone following me and reporting anything I do just to be a jerk?

Thanks in advance.

I note you also have NEW figures that are listed as from personal collection,
put together for display only. If they've been built and on display, they
are used. They may be in excellent and like new condition, but they have still
been used.
