| I just received my first order from California where the sales tax is being remitted.
I do appreciate it, as it saves me a lot of hassle setting up a nexus once I
cross the threshold.
I do have one suggestion though. If you look at attached screenshots, you see
a clear difference on how eBay is treating the payment, and how Bricklink is
treating the payment. On the eBay payment there is a statement "Tax collected
by eBay", while on the Bricklink payment this is called "Partner commission".
I would suggest changing this phrase to something very similar, as this helps
to prove that taxes are collected and paid to the right agencies.
I have not spoken to my accountant yet to understand if there is a difference
on the administrative side or with burden of proof, but only for clarity already
I would suggest to make this change.

I agree, this should be more transparent on the PayPal side. Can someone, who
accept Stripe, tell us how it is being displayed there ?

There you are, attached a Stripe payment. Same issue, I would love to see something
like 'tax remittance' or something. Now it simply looks like a fee,
and I'm still in the dark wether or not I did need to charge sales tax and
pay sales tax.
In this case not that big of an issue, as I'm still below the threshold for
a cali Nexus, but here in Arkansas that would be somewhat of an issue once I
get an audit.
