| Hi,
So I'd like someone to have a look at this and see if I am going mad please.
Have a look at the first picture without looking at the second you will see both
parts stuck together look identical in colour. Both are brown. Now look at the
second picture the same part Plate 1x1 with the design on that side of it is
listed only as reddish brown and never as brown. Should this not be listed as
brown?
Kind regards
Barry

With this picture it is safe to say that it is dark red. The mudguard you added
isn't available in Reddish Brown. Only 1 seller sells them (and that's
you )
So yes, you have to do some inventory adjustments

Do you actually have any old brown bricks/plates to put the "others"?
TBF the plates do look brown in the first two photos. But lighting and images
can make something look very different.

| Ok so you guys have more experience of this than me so I'm going to take
your word that the tile is dark red. My issue then is what does Dark red look
like to Reddish Brown and what does reddish brown look like to Brown. All the
parts I sell are used parts so its likely a lot of brown could exist so going
on that basis I was assuming everything with a reddish tint was reddish brown
and I don't have any dark red, if I'm incorrect on this then I have a
major inventory reshuffle to do.

| Thank you @Brickwilbo, i was aware of the Colour Guides but the thumbnails do
make it look a bit better. What I lost on now is this image as if you guys tell
me this is Reddish Brown (even though its an old enough brick) then that would
mean everything I'm calling brown is reddish brown and everything i'm
calling Reddish brown is Dark red. Is there a way to find out what parts where
and where not manufactured for definitely in different colours? I know just looking
at what is available on Bricklink is not that reliable.

| Hi,
So I'd like someone to have a look at this and see if I am going mad please.

I think you answered your own question when you said the 1x1 plate was listed
only as reddish brown.
has only been used in and only as reddish brown.

What I would do is ask on the forum which sellers are experts in colors,
Than order 1 of each color in 2 x 4 bricks . Than make a color chárt on a large
Baseplate and label each color Next to it's brick. If the seller is
Really helpful they will put each brick in it's own little Baggie
And write the color on it.Sometimes you have to go out in the sunlight to really
See the difference.
