I am very nervous last months and need your suggestions... Probably you can say
me if I work right way or not. Sorry for my bad english...

Last year I was need to come back to Russia from Lithuania where I had a store
for 3 years. It is impossible to sell a lot if you have russian flag on bricklink
and ship from Russia - russian post is awful, slow and expensive, but I should
live in Russia some more years. So I create business model with main storage
in Moscow and dispatching office in Lithuania.
Starts last year we found transport copmpany that transfered group of orders
from Moscow to Vilnius for us every 4 days, shipping also took 4 days. So in
5-8 days every order was in Vilnius. We make it legaly and pay to customs, so
our customers from EU don't need to pay it by themselves. It is cheaper for
many orders in bulk then for separate order and we include it to part's price.

But Covid-19 broke our shipping process and delayed it a lot.
Our transport company now can go to Vilnius just every 7 working days (not 2
times a week like before, but just 1 time in 1.5 week) and they never know how
much will take delivery, once in may for a butch of orders it was a month.
Instead of 5-8 days it become to 2-3 weeks just for first step of shipping.

I have it in store terms, I write my customers all info about shipping process
when they make order, inform about additional delays if they appears.
I am very thankful to most of my buyers who understand it, they need parts and
read terms and can wait for parts they want.

But before the end of global pandemy when all borders start to work as previously
I can't sleep a night after receiving NSS for "order wasn't deliver yet"
Becouse every morning I afraid that I open my eyes and store that is a life for
me and work for 15 employes will be suspended.

I also can't just close the store, becouse it is not just my earnings but
salary for people who work with me and who will not able to find another work
fast and don't have enought money to live without work in this country.
We are not the perfect store, but I think we works well and try to make it better
every day. I hope that in the future we will have better managment and better
packing process avoid mistakes in orders we solve if make now. I understand NSS
if we missed part - we solve it as fast as we can for pleasure of our customers.

But in january our store was suspended becouse of 5 or 6 active (not finished,
just active) NSS from buyers with up to 10 feedbacks who have tracking numbers
(some orders were delivered!) and who don't answer my messages I ask to stop
NSS and start PayPal disput if they afraid for money.

Now we also have 5 open NSS and bricklink administration don't answer to
me (we have tracking for orders and some of them even were delivered)
And I afraid every day that "one more open NSS and we will be suspended"...

ANd the worst that for the small and large store doesn't matter, have you
got 30 orders a month and some open NSS or 600 orders a month and some open NSS
- your order can be suspended... It should not work so I think... At least in
time of Covid-19...

I am so sorry, I see that I wrote a lot and take your time with my bad english...
Just need to share with somebody, don't want my wife see how I am nervous,
she also will be.
I think this post just help me to feel a bit better. Sorry

Hi J_Keter,

Some people do not have the patience to wait that long and will file a NSS unfortunately.
I’m was waiting on an order that was send 62 days ago from the US, but i finally
got a message yesterday that it was cleared by customs. So it’s not always the
fault of the sender!

I think that if you do everything honest and keep a good record of what was send
to who with what trace code, you should be fine In fact; i’ll go have a look
in your store right now!

Keep calm and stay safe!

Kinds regards,

Ricardo

I am one of those repeat customers who likes your store for its wide assortment
of low priced parts. And yes, I do have to wait quite a while until the package
arrives, but you are very clear about communicating this ahead. Also you kindly
informed about progress, so I am perfectly OK with waiting.
You might want to try to minimize the time of your internal processes and keep
informing your customers about the actual location of their packages - as far
as you can find out from your couriers and mail service.
