| Hello, I realized that 8713-1 hasn't been inventoried yet!
I happen to have it! I didn't know it was rare, my parents bought it for
me in a french mall when I was a kid (and probably was on clearance).
It it isn't complete, but the most important parts are there (probably just
some axles and gears are missing) BUT brickset also has a 50% complete list.
I'm sure I can figure out a very good approximation of the original content.
Probably about 95% true. Some of the parts are in a very unique color and people
on bricklink are selling them without knowing that they only came in this set
(and probably believe they are prototypes)
Would it be worth? can an inventory on bricklink be partially complete? I tried
editing the page but, since it has no inventory at all, the "submit edit" button
was missing...
This is also my first community post so I hope I posted on right place!

If my memory is intact regarding this set they vary in parts, therefore it can
be different shapes and different colors. Therefore there are to many possibilities
to work it out, maybe dozens or even hundreds of possibilities.
Also Bionicle had sort of polybags with masks in it, they also had some HTF colors
that some may regard as prototypes or rare. These polybags are not inventoried
for the same reason, although only two mask they came with several different
masks in several different colors. So too many options to work it out.

Nono, I don't think that's the case! I cross-checked the partially available
lista with the parts I still have and they are exactly the same number. I believe
they aren't random at all! it isn't a "surprise pack"

I also found several pictures of people displaying the parts on ebay and they
are EXACTLY the same, always. Even the Krana Masks are the same number, same
type and same color. I think there is potential for a new inventory here. I'm
very excited about this now.

had Kanohi "Ultimate Dume" in mine, and for axle part 3704 he only listed 61
while I have at least 90 that sure came from that set. I am compiling a precise
list with what I have, either cross-checked or that I'm 100% sure came from
the canister. Maybe they are the "constants" that never changed.

| How can i submit my inventory?
It took some effort but I finally finished!!! Even axles and pins were easier

canister is their only origin in my collection.
I have concluded that the only parts that may be variable are the rubber Krana
maks and the throwing disks. (and the mystery about the Ultimate Dume kanohi
that peeron has listed. I find it hard to believe but who knows...).
Peeron's inventory greatly helped me for confirmation, however it wasn't
fully reliable since it included parts that were produced after 2004 (eg: part
57560 was produced in 2008).
I think my inventory would help explaining why some parts are largely available
for sale, despite the fact that they are uncommon.
So, who do I need to send my list to?

Hey Randy, (I'm the same guy from the alternate brown stairs in the harry
potter set!)
Ok I submitted my inventory and made a detailed description of what was confirmed
by other inventories and what I own. However, on the last step, Bricklink changed
the order of the items based on their colors so my commentary now doesn't
matches it and I don't know if you will still be able to see the original
order I submitted them (sorry about that!). If you have any doubts, please ask
me

Yeah, the comments are pretty meaningless to me as I don't see them in the
way you originally uploaded them. Maybe you could make a list using something
(spreadsheet, text editor, etc.) to show me what parts in the inventory go into
which group that you describe.
