Today I'm just constantly getting logged out when I refresh the page or move
it to a new tab despite clicking 'remain logged in'

Last night I made a purchase and tried to pay for it via mobile and the 'pay'
button on site was broken. I could not pay. Tried again this morning on my PC
and it worked.

Site slowdown and more duplicate lots

Why is it when there's site maintenance or a change to something ten other
things mess up? It just seems to snowball. Is the team not capable?

Why has there been zero communication despite the ample issues and complaints?
We as loyal members who pay our fees on time should not have to think back to
the month 'when Bricklink worked' like some keep suggesting.

Also, help desk? more like absent desk.

Website is run like an utter joke at times. Communication from those who run
it is quite frankly non-existent. If the fees ever go up, which I'm expecting
ever since the takeover, I think I may be done with as a seller altogether.

You really wouldn't think just a minuscule of communication about the ongoing
problems of the last couple days would be that much to ask.

Testing is done in the live site using members to find and report problems rather
than do proper testing in a sandbox environment before going live with updates
(and not consulting members even on functionality of updates before launching
them). Since the XP farce this has started to impact customer service to a point
that is going to harm sellers' reputations. I just don't understand the
logic.

This is demonstrably false. Communication from the site is not perfect, but
it is improving.

Website is run like an utter joke at times

The website is frustrating to use sometimes, yes. That does not rise to the
level of an utter joke. I trust you intended this as hyperbole and not a statement
intended to be taken seriously.

Perhaps, but the site is quite terrible. Simple everyday actions take twice as
many clicks as it takes on BO, as an example. Why does it need to be that way?

Like most bad things in life, take a really unethical company for example; you'll
always get the few that defend it no matter what. That's not a problem per
say, just don't expect to reason.

Bricklink being the e-commerce giant it is one thing we can't deny is that
the website and its workings is a shambles. I will admit that communication is
getting better no matter how small that improvement actually is.

Yeah the logging out issue has been happening to me on iPad for the last week
or so.

Also for non instant checkout orders you can’t set an order to ready when you
send an invoice or paid when paid which means they don’t show under orders not
yet shipped

I am not sure why TLG would respond, here's the official statement I, just
this very moment, cut and pasted:

"LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor,
authorize, or endorse this site."

I am confused, now.

Thanks for that. I have fixed it. Not all the Help pages have been updated to
reflect the current Terms of Service, but I remember specifically having those
words changed in the new TOS and also on the footer of every page.

Your not alone in your confusion,
found this line, I didn't know lego was based in Hong Kong

I've known about that one, too... ROFLMAO

That one, of course has more serious implications, and seems odd given that BL
started in Hawaii, settled in California, sold to a S. Korean investor, and then
to TLG, a Denmark company. I suspect that when the family incorporated, they
did it using an off shore agency for tax purposes (I would've gone to the
Cayman's or Bermuda, that's a bit less risky); but my research thus far
has hit a wall and no one will answer the query or seems to know anything.

Given US trade restrictions and import and export regulations, I'm curious
what the legal ramifications will be?

Jay Kim, from South Korea, has a private company based in Brussels, Belgium called
NXMH.
NXMH incorporated a Hong Kong company, Bricklink Limited, for the purpose of
acquiring Bricklink.com from Dan Jezek's family. Bricklink Limited was a
subsidiary of NXMH.
It is this Hong Kong company that NXMH sold to The Lego Group.

Ah, the missing link: NXMH.

Kind of funny, but as I have been searching for "Jay Kim", I kept running across
an American politician from California.

Thanks for providing that detail, I have discovered a treasure trove of new information...

Just to include all of the dots, some 75% of The Lego Group is in turn owned
by Kirkbi, which is the private holding company of the Kristiansen family, the
descendants of the founder of Lego, Kirk Kristiansen.

All of these entities are private. The only way for most of us to invest in Lego
is in the secondary market.

Yep, I had that info, it's a little more publicly known. I find it interesting
that Jay Kim is heavy into gaming, which explains a few things; it's a significant
difference between coding for a game versus an application.

I'm curious why he invested in BL? Looking at the financials, it doesn't
seem to make sense for a multi-billion dollar holding company that makes 1000
fold more on gaming, except that he had a manufacturing plant, and BL could have
been the vehicle to inject his products into the AFOL community - but it didn't
work out exactly as planned?

with this or back off.

Been here since 2002. The issues have consistently gotten worse year after year.
Changes made which are not communicated or needed, changes are not beta tested
on a dummy server before going live, and as other have said, no answers or transparency
on any of it.

Really sad to see the service by TLG and Bricklink sinking this ship while grabbing
as much $$ as they can on the way down. Learn how to code bricklink.

Logging out is just constant now. For the love of goodness please sort these
bugs out. This did not happen before the lego group bought this site. Get professional
with this or back off.

It really did. This is terrible at the moment, but poor site performance isn't
due to changes TLG have made.

it to a new tab despite clicking 'remain logged in'

I absolutely agree. But I'm fine with most of the issues here, however, this
constant bug of logging me out is absolutely ridiculous. The biggest error in
the Bricklink system I've seen so far that has affected me. I hope the BL
team fixes this problem.

And now I can't adjust my order page because all the boxes are greyed out,
saying you can't edit an order after it's been paid for. Well, when I
partly refund or credit a buyer after it's been paid for I should be allowed
to adjust the boxes for my own records. Another fabulous 'improvement'

Order has processing status, but I can't key in a shipping cost because it
is 'paid'.

Same thing of constantly having to login is happening to me as well although
I check the box to stay logged in everytime I log in. This never happened until
yesterday and is very irratating.

Do any other sellers have the various boxes on their order page all greyed out
so you can edit them? Really pissing me off as seems I can't edit any of
them once the order has been paid. If this is a permanent 'improvement'
then it's ridiculous as I should be able to change the 'credit' box
for instance if I partially refund a buyer after the fact.

I have an order not paid which somehow is 'paid' that I can't even
fill in the shipping and invoice. Amazing.

Thanks to this mess I've lost an order. Sent the buyer an e-mail with shipping
and total. They tried to pay onsite and could not so they decided to cancel.
Now I have to put all the parts back . At least it's only 15 lots. Disgusted.
