| I need to buy ~100 of the same part, but I don't care what color they are.
In fact, I don't really want 100 of a single color. I'd rather it be
mixed.
Previous posts have said that "not applicable" would work, but when I choose
that, the system seems to pick a single color, presumably the cheapest?
Is there a way to specify random colors?
Thanks!

You are looking to buy 100 pieces of one design distributed over various lots,
disregarding the color of those lots and wish for a way to find these lots.
Sorry to say, but there is not a straightforward way to do this on Bricklink.
You have to manually decide upon the color distribution.
Best bet would be to use manipulate the list of stores that have this part (catalog
item page) and their available amounts of this part outside Bricklink.
Disregarding shipping, your choice would be the top lots in the list of available
lot when sorted by ascending price, but you would like to consolidate by shop.
Alternatively: find one shop that comes up on top of the list, then go this store
and search for the part again in any color. This shows you all lots that shop
has. Count the number of parts you can buy from there, and see if you have reached
your 100. If not, repeat for the next shop.

Or contact a store with your desired volume/part and see if they would create
a custom lot for you.
