The instructions do not show building the runway and an awful lot of these pieces are used in the runway. So I cannot go by that. But I have exactly 1 more in each color than the 1990 sprued set provided, so I am called each of them an extra.

No, but the box has a copyright 1990, 1992

Do you still have the Lego catalog ID and year around?

Catalog was garbage and went in the trash. I got sealed bags, but the packaging
was very ugly.

Having exactly one more round 1x1 plate in each color than the set with sprued
round 1x1 plates sounds like a perfectly good check against the sprued set.
