75235-1 contains 2x LEGO Transparent Green Brick 1 x 1 Round with Open Stud (3062
/ 30068 / 35390) instead of 2x 4589b LEGO Cone 1x1.

So I done this inventory from sealed set content.

My first reaction was: I don't belive it, how could I mmade such mistake,
what a flop.
Second reaction: Wait....
Third reaction: I need to check my set, I still don't believe that such mistake
I made

So what I found. My inventory is correct
Set was redesign during production.
In attachment scan of instruction for my copy of the set. Definitely I see cone
there.
My instruction has number 6268583
Lego current online instructions have following numbers
EU one - 6283107
US one - 6283108
So I checked them
https://www.lego.com/biassets/bi/6283107.pdf
and yes you have right there are two trans green round bricks instead of cones.
Also official inventory has round bricks not cones now.

Interesting is that LEGO totally delete as I see traces of older variant which
I have
https://brickset.com/sets/75235-1/X-wing-Starfighter-Trench-Run
Main image shows this set with round bricks, inventory there also only round
bricks and there are only links for two new mentioned instructions with round
bricks.

When you check our catalog it looks like this

Set No: 75235 Name: X-wing Starfighter Trench Run
*
75235-1 (Inv) X-wing Starfighter Trench Run
120 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2019
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
Main image has round bricks. But instruction cover and box image have cones

Congratulation of founding another redesign set.
So the only change here as I checked is only two

Part No: 3062b Name: Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud
*
3062b Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud
Parts: Brick, Round {Trans-Green}
instead of two

Part No: 4589b Name: Cone 1 x 1 with Top Groove
*
4589b Cone 1 x 1 with Top Groove
Parts: Cone {Trans-Bright Green}

Now I leave it to Paul and Randy to act

P.S. I have no idea why it was changed, what was a purpose of it. They run out
of trans bright green cones?

I have added the alternate parts and a note about the two versions of instructions.
