Thank you, this got me thinking, why not just change all of the order status
colours to Nougat? Then the status changes might actually stick without having
to be done again, and again, and again...

In the pursuit of precision color naming, we should dispense with all names,
and use TLG's in-house numbering system instead.

Earth Orange is 12 (nominally called Light Orange Brown)

The alternate color formerly confused with Earth Orange is 128 (also known as
Dark Nougat)

Now we should easily be able to sort things out.

Or we could just call everything white which is a mixture of all colors.

Won’t work. The Team Subtractive will come and claim mixing colours leads
to black, so all colours should be called black.

Black is the absorption of light and color spectrum without the reflection of
light, and therefore without perceived color

Good point! But NOT a mixture, John.

White without a specific wavelength is the sum of all conceivable colors.
Or any wavelength, and therefore all or any color, theoretically.

Lobster Red? Sounds like a term the color terminology reformers here on BL might
adopt, being food

OK, it's decided then … all colors will be referred to by their CYM and/or
Pantone number (which many have)
