Another newbie question - when adding items to my inventory, I am asked if I
want to send notifications to users who have the item in their wanted list.
Is it considered helpful if I do this or rather an annoyance?

cheers, Bellafux

I'm happy to get them, I can ignore them if I want.

I also send out notifications.

It's likely that people will be split on this.

Don't worry, it's optional to receive notifications.

another detailed question now about notifications:
if I add an item to the stockroom - it wont be listed when someone visits my
shop as far as I have understood.
Yet I am asked to send notifications?? Will the people i send notifications of
a stockroom item be told that it is a stockroom item? Otherwise they come visit
the shop and there is no such item visible...

????

I always send out Notifications, people can opt out of them and they help drive
business to my store.

They are actually “opt in,” so even more benign

My sales increase after notifications go out. People can opt out of receiving
them, so I don't see a problem in notifying folks.
