whatever picture existed at the time, so we have no way of knowing what it was.

I've gone back through E&D catalogs and this set only appears in one catalog
I have. It is from 1998. The catalog does not indicate colours. By 2002, the
next catalog I have with service packs like this, the set was gone. It also
did not appear in '03 or '04 catalogs with service packs.

We don't know what source Dan used, but it was probably not accurate for
this set. Catalogs are no help. Therefore, we must (reluctantly, in my case)
rely on sealed set contents as shown below. The set shown below has a copyright
date of 1998, which is the year of release BrickLink shows for the set.
