Concerning these requests, it seems that the instruction manual for this set
was updated from the one for

Set No: 8812 Name: Aero Hawk II
*
8812-1 (Inv) Aero Hawk II
149 Parts, 1994
Sets: Technic: Model: Airport
to show that the

Part No: 4265b Name: Technic Bush 1/2 Toothed, Two Interior Ridges
*
4265b Technic Bush 1/2 Toothed, Two Interior Ridges
Parts: Technic {Light Gray}
were replaced in the set by

Part No: 4265c Name: Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth
*
4265c Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth
Parts: Technic {Light Gray}

This makes sense as 4265b should have been pretty much phased out and gone by
2002.

However, the instructions still show

Part No: 3651 Name: Technic, Axle and Pin Connector
*
3651 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector
Parts: Technic, Connector {Light Gray}

Was this set originally purchased new by yourself and the pieces kept together
and not mixed with other sets? If so, then I would like to ask you a few more
questions about the set.

Cheers,
Randy

Hi Randy,

I bought the original set at Legoland in Germany in 2002.

It remained assembled until two weeks ago, when I disassembled it to clean and
check all the pieces.

Once I was assembling it again, I note the differences between Brick set inventory
and the original set.
I've also noted that the first page of the instruction manual is the same
as the assembled set, instead the interior page shown the old pieces (set 8812).
I've attached some photo to be clear.

Regards
Marco

Fantastic, Marco! Thanks so much for your help!

If you would, could you please answer the following questions concerning this
pretty rare set?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What version of

Part No: 2536 Name: Plant, Tree Palm Trunk (Undetermined Type)

2536 Plant, Tree Palm Trunk (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Plant, Tree
Marked for Deletion
do you have in the set? My guess would be that it is

Part No: 2536d Name: Plant, Tree Palm Trunk - Short Connector, Axle Hole with 2 Inside Prongs
*
2536d Plant, Tree Palm Trunk - Short Connector, Axle Hole with 2 Inside Prongs
Parts: Plant, Tree
but it would be nice to have a confirmation of this.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What version of

Part No: 6538 Name: Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged Undetermined Type)
*
6538 Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged Undetermined Type)
Parts: Technic, Connector
do you have in the set? Is it

Part No: 6538a Name: Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged with + Hole + Orientation)
*
6538a Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged with + Hole + Orientation)
Parts: Technic, Connector

or

Part No: 6538b Name: Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged with x Hole x Orientation)
*
6538b Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged with x Hole x Orientation)
Parts: Technic, Connector

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks,
Randy
