Just cleaned this set for storage and possible sale in the future. Parts were never intermingled with others and kept in original box since construction of main model. Lego makes mistakes all the time. Just want to verify contents, had a few extras, had one less than Bricklink inventory. Thanks!

The parts list in the instructions lists the following:

All of these quantities are confirmed by the official LEGO replacement parts
website.

Lastly, the inventory for the set currently consists of 578 parts and the original
set box states that the set contains 578 pieces.

With all of these pieces of data supporting the current inventory, these requests
will not be accepted.
