This may have been discussed previously, so forgive me for the rerun if that
is so.

Many of my payments are under $10. So if I accept a $5 payment through Paypal,
as a micropayment it is 5% plus 5 cents. Or total of 30 cents.

Through standard Paypal, it is 2.9% plus 30 cents, or 45 cents.

So I would save 15 cents.

However, if I accept a large payment, say $50, it is then more expensive, because
they charge you the micropayment fee on all transactions, and this one would
be $1.75 versus $2.55.

And then I would pay 80 cents more!

(if I have done my math correctly, that is!)

So here is my question: do many of you have two accounts so you can accept micropayments
in one account and larger payments in the other? Or is that not allowed on Paypal?

I have two (one normal and one micropayments). Not had any issues since I've
set them up - probably 3 or 4 years now.

Certainly saves in paypal fees in the long run.

I believe it is allowed by paypal (certainly as far as I'm aware anyway!!)
- you just use different email address's for the different accounts.

Thanks! I will try that.
