I just assembled the set and saw the difference for extra parts. also checked for Sariels video review and he had same nr. of spare parts left (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bUpxjp4byQ) see minute 20:06

Usually, we do not adjust the numbers of extra parts in a set unless we have
very conclusive evidence to the contrary.

However, there is an inventory note for this set that states "The extra parts
for this set have not been confirmed." even though extra parts are listed.

In this case, the inventory note and the evidence you have provided is enough
to make the necessary changes you have requested.
