Couldn't you use a regular 2x1 slope inverted 3665 with a brick 1x1 underneath?

Nah, better build upside-down.

I have also wondered over the years why that degree of slope doesn't exist.

While we're at it, I would love to see macaroni plates.

Is this kind of a loophole to allow/let competitors grab some "leftovers" or
filling the blanks ?

For instance, Mega-Blocks creators has made a nice 1x2 (or 2x2) plate with studs
on both sides.

All those missing SYSTEM parts have indeed been made by TLG, many of them decades
ago. For one reason or the other TLG have not released them but focused one whatever
weirdo single use part of the day that was deemed essential at boardmeeting of
non-AFOLs

Too bad, I'd really like the slope (inverted also) section to be completed.
Seems TLG's focus is on curved slopes and arches these days

Here's a couple of nuggets I used to own. Both at least 20 years old

Cheers,

Ole

Could also make a lot of use of roof tip slopes (like slopes 2 x 2 double 45
deg. slopes 2 x 4 double 45 deg.) in Dark Red for example. How should one build
a castle with Dark Red roofs of buildings / towers, one cannot close the roofs.
This is the worst gap in my opinion.
