| Over the course of July, I had 41 orders.
Over the course of the last 6 days, I've had 17 orders.
Anyone else experiencing an uptick like this? A little early to call it on seasonal
cycle.
I did just upload a some parts/figures at the 6mo. avg price instead of my usual
supply/demand algo, so that could be driving part of it as well.

My uptick was the last few days, but none today. An event maybe? I figured it
was kids went back to school.

| My average for the month is right on track. However the first two weeks of the
month were much quieter than normal, and the past week was exceptionally busy.
The orders I have received seem to be all MOC part orders (multiples of the
same odd part). I am only one month into my second year so I haven't been
able to plot seasonal curves yet. But I am collecting the data in the hopes
to better understand the ups and downs.

Hi guys
Whilst each region is different and there are also differences within the regions,
these are the figures for the 13 store group we monitor in the UK. It represents
2017/18 and 19 from June and is the monthly total for all the stores.
This year (2019) has been the worst of the three years with overall orders well
down on last year. Could be Brexit or any number of other factors. Your guess
is as good as anybody's. The 13 stores we monitor are all mid-range stores
- all but a couple have been around a very long time.
Hope that gives you a bit more insight.

Anytime I upload a batch of parts/figures, I see a little uptick in orders and
many will be from those parts just uploaded, so your adding inventory surely
helped give you a boost. Otherwise, my orders have been relatively normal.
I plan to start plotting my orders to see what I can gather from it as I will
be finishing my 3rd full year in a couple months, so hopefully it will begin
to become enough of a data set to actually pick something from.
That said, with our inventories ever evolving, I'm not sure smaller stores
like me will have natural ebbs and flows throughout a calendar year, but maybe
I will be wrong when it all comes out.

I've kept track since day 1. It's all in excel, but i haven't made
a chart yet.
It's definitely multi-variable though just scrolling thru the monthly totals.
I'd say the 3 biggest variables for me are;
-Inventory (recent uploads and number of unique rare lots)
-Pricing relative to 6mo. avg.
-Seasonal
