Part 2730 should be 4 (2 on step 9, page 5, and 2 on step 14, page 8). Parte 40490 should be only 2 (1 on step 4, page 23, and 1 on step 4, page 34 - I can't find any other use of this part)

This set was redesigned as mentioned in the inventory note below the inventory:
"There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. The differences
for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items
section with Match ID 99.
Quick overview of redesign: In the central gear system two white 1 x 9 liftarms
are replaced by two white 1 x 10 Technic bricks."
