check on the bricks?
Well spotted? I have been checking many copies of this set since last year to
find out about these hinges.
I believe the hinges with solid studs did not appear in any set from 1985 or
later. So they should be removed from the inventories of 7722, 7735, 7823,...
Concerning the 2*2 and 2*3 bricks, I always wondered when they were produced
for the first time. In your copy of this set (from 1987), are the 2*2 bricks
3003 or 3003old? (red, yellow, trans-clear)
Seems the 2*3 bricks are all the old version?
I have to check again, but I think this set was in production until 1990 and
therefore all those bricks appear also with cross support/inside support.
P.S. many thanks for spending of your money and buying these sealed/NIB sets.
I really appreciate it and it means a lot to me.
By the way, what would you do with them after opening a sealed set? If you sell
the parts, would that cover a good portion of what you spend for the set?
