How did they expect kids to build the alternate model after having applied a
huge sticker across three of the yellow 1x4 bricks in the main model?

I know a good solution for that: I can submit another inventory change request
to change the quantity from 6 to 9!

And yeap, thus is exactly how all the stickers of my model set 5510 got perished.

I have owned a copy of 7740 since 1984, and I remember dismantling it to build
the alternative model only once... Of course that sticker got a little perished
in doing so... That's why TLG included two copy of it in the sticker sheet!

Is the stickered part then not correct? Both sides?

I checked both the instructions and the pictures on the box, it is not 100% clear
but it seems like the sticker has to be attacked on both sides of the timetable,
so the sticker part is correct.

And same for the '1' and '2' stickers first on a 1x1 brick, alternate
model on 1x6 brick
