Ah that image. I never look at the image. That page is intended to show the sets
that part appears in the selected colour.

Selecting the Price Guide Info column, does show the CORRECT color image,
so I agree it seems very easy to fix.

I think it shows the correct color when you look at the small image, but not
when the page uses the generic large image.

(Can't really test that now, typing on my phone...)

What do you mean by “on the next page” ?
Selecting a colour doesn’t change the page.


Anyway, when I select a colour, I get the picture in that colour.
And changing the lower tab to “Price Guide” instead of “Color Info” (my default)
shows me the price guide for the colour I just selected.

What would be nice (too) would be sorting the Known colours by name….

Okay, I get it: clicking on a colour name in the Known Color column in the Color
Info tab, not the colour selection box on top of the picture.

Yes, the link leads to a page (e.g. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4073&colorID=36&in=A
) that shows the part in another colour.
