I did a google search, but I'm lost.

I'm looking to download set inventories into excel in CSV format.
Rebrickable says you can, but as I said, I'm lost.
https://rebrickable.com/downloads/

Thanks

If it’s a question about Rebrickable, did you ask on rebrickable?

If it’s a question about BrickLink, just hover over “Shop,” click “Catalog” then
“Download” in the menu bar, you’ll arrive there: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogDownload.asp

On the right, click the checkbox “Inventory,” and fill in the set number (don’t
forget the “-N”, e.g. “6990-1”).
The download format is either “Tab-Delimited File” or “XML.” You want “Tab-Delimited
File.”

CSV means “Comma-Separated Values” but the “comma” can also be a semi-colon or
a tab(ulation). Any spreadsheet knows that and has an option to set the separator
at import.

No, this pc I'm on does not have that log on info handy, so I thought I'd
post here where questions are usually answered in a friendly, helpful manner.

I don't know what my spreadsheet knows, just that it is not displaying what
I am looking for. I'll keep playing around with it.
Thanks

Should I understand my answer wasn’t friendly nor helpful?

We still don’t know what you want it to display….

Maybe just misread. Any attempt at helping is useful and welcomed.
I ended up figuring things out.
Thanks!

From BL use this link (replace set number 6211-1 with whatever you need):

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogDownload.asp?viewType=4&itemTypeInv=S&itemNo=6211&downloadType=T

This gives you a 6211-1.txt file, but it is really a TAB delimited CSV file,
so just rename it 6211-1.csv, and then open it as a tab delimited file in Excel

Thanks for helping. Based on your answer I did a bit more googling.
I just know some basics in Excel, took me a while to figure out. When I download
the .txt file it opens in wordpad. I cannot change it to download directly to
Excel. I did figure out how to import a .txt to Excel, so all is good. (Although
I wish parts colors were listed by name instead of color ID, but that's a
pretty easy fix.)

Thanks again!
