I think all extra charges should be eliminated, altogether. its not right, you
post how much you want for the piece, you don't pay for shipping the buyer
does, and in most cases its over inflated, but thats not good enough the seller
controls it all.
its stealing.I am a buyer and a seller, so i do know what im saying.something
should be done about it.if nothing else you should have it posted in bold type
next to your name, that way you can chose to move on to a honest seller. other
sites like this one don't allow it

I’ve got to play devils advocate here a bit... How much do you even charge for
shipping? You have nothing listed in your terms. How do I know that I wouldn’t
get a bunch extra fees/etc by ordering something from your store?

Again, just playing devils advocate here...

I agree to some extent but, Its up to the buyer to either pay extra or move on.
Also what is fair and not fair? Should a seller work for free? Pay for gas to
get to the post office? etc.... I think it works itself out. At very least I
think the guys that charge Paypal fees could be reprimanded as that is against
paypals policy.

As I ususally write:

* First we need to buy a part/set at a price, your initial aquirering price.

* Then we need to make a calculation on what "real" costs you have in your shop
- the cost of packing material, PayPal fees, paper & ink etc, gas money to get
out and buy things to put in your store and to go to the post office. Those things
put together should be sliced into a small amount that gets put on top of the
aquirering price.
That gives you the break even price for the part/set.

* Now it's time to set the price where you are willing to sell the part/set
to make a profit big enough to warrant the time & effort you put into your business.
That profit is what puts food on the table.
The part/set gets sold and you charge the actual shipping cost.
Done, you made a sale and a profit!

I would think that "acknowledge the order, process" is kind of a necessity in
selling and shouldn't be added into the real cost calculation, it comes with
the territory.

Shipping of 500g parts within US doesn't cost the same as from US to China.
How can we resolve this and make it equal for everybody and then include it into
parts' prices?
PayPal fees from a US account to another US account is not equal to from an European
account to a US account...
