| Here is my suggestion for superlots and how to value the items in a superlot.
Hopefully what I am suggesting makes sense and I explain my suggestion so that
it is understood.
Instead of having the seller price each item in a superlot instead have the seller
set the price for the entire superlot and then BrickLink will assign the price
of each item based on the average selling price of the item at the time the superlot
is listed.
If the seller wants to change the price of the superlot either change the individual
part prices prorata to their original listed price or reprice the items in the
superlot based on the then current average selling price.
I have prepared an example based on a few price points for a superlot. In the
example I have three different price points for the superlot, one close to average
price, one below and one above. The selling price per item changes relative
to the price of the superlot.
This will prevent the possibility of price manipulation for individual items
(selling 9 items for 0.01 and selling the 10th item for 30.00)
I think it makes sense for the seller to price only the superlot instead of individual
pieces as they are likely selling a build, set, or collectible series and
they would like to sell everything for a specific value they aren't thinking
that they want to sell "part 1" for 3.00 and "part 2" for 0.10, they are thinking
"I would like to sell my build for 30.00".
Anyway, I'm sure I lot of people will not like this thought/suggestion, but
that is my suggestion.

| If I may add an argument for that suggestion:
It’s not price fixing or BL setting the prices for the items in the superlot
because you can’t buy the items in the superlot separately at that price.
Equivalent items can be listed separetely at any price. (“Equivalent,” not “the
same,” else you’d be listing and risk selling the same objects twice.)
