Comments from Submitter:
The swords in this set are actually Trans-Bright Green and not Trans-Neon Green.

I have both of these:
from this set where both are inventoried as trans-neon green:
and you're absolutely right. There is a color difference between the two
parts.
I'm not a color expert by any means, but I compared both swords to the minifigure
head which I have in trans-bright green from this figure:
Unfortunately, neither sword matches the color of the head. Two questions: first,
can you provide further evidence as to the color being trans-bright green, such
as a color comparison image?
Second: I noticed that you cancelled your other pending requests to change this
part color in other sets - shouldn't we change them all at the same time
to avoid confusion?
I do agree with you that a color change may be needed, but based on what I'm
seeing I'm not convinced trans-bright green is the way to go because it appears
noticeably darker than either of the swords. There are only 3 trans-green colors
to choose from, though.
If we can't figure anything out, then at the least I can include an inventory
note for the affected sets noting the color difference.

I can't provide an image right now due to my camera being defunct and my
cell phone being a dumb phone. The color is definitely not a direct match for
Trans-Bright Green or Trans-Neon Green used for polycarbonate parts. However,
it *is* closer to Trans-Bright Green in hue. The reason for the color being "off"
and subdued is due to the type of plastic used for this part to give it its flexible
qualities. When compared with other parts, the color is most closely related
to either
or
in Trans-Bright Green.
The last bit of evidence that I can provide is the render of the part by LEGO.
The rendered color is definitely the same color used for other Trans-Bright Green
parts, and not the color that they use to render Trans-Neon Green.

The reason I cancelled the other requests is because I had not yet checked all
of the other sets in my collection even though my online research seemed to show
that this sword was not listed as the correct color on BrickLink. The one request
that I left (this one) was due to the fact that I was looking at this set in
front of me at the time, and I could tell the color was wrong. I would definitely
like to change them all at once by having the catalog updated along with the
inventories. We have at least two data points from two sets now, and LEGO lists
all of these swords as the same color for the four sets it appears in.
Cheers,
Randy
