After today's upgrades there has been two changes to the "Buy" screen that
were features that worked wonderfully and hopefully can be returned.

Under the old setup, from yesterday 9/4/17, you could select your desired wanted
list and see the individual items in each wanted list displayed on the left side
of the screen. I have figured out how to do that under the new setup, but the
images are now very small.

Problem 1:
You could select an item to be a "must buy" and it would show all the stores
that had that item. That allowed me to focus on a single item to buy and than
narrow down which stores to continue shopping in. That feature no longer exists.

Problem 2:
With all your items displayed on the left of the screen as you would click on
a store on the right side of the screen it would put a box around the items in
that store so you could tell what you were buying before looking at the items
in a store. That feature no longer works.

These were two great improvements to the revamped buying screen. I sincerely
hope the return shortly.

OK, I just fingered out Problem 1. I see there is a small icon at the top right
corner of the individual item that will "Show stores with this item".

Hi there,

I'm happy to explain how these features work on our updated page.

Problem 1: When you are on the Wanted Items view, all items will have a check
box and a lock box on them. The "lock" icon has the same function as the REQUIRED
option did in the old page. If you click on the lock icon and then click Apply
Changes, you will only see stores that have that item.

Problem 2: The boxes are no longer around the items, but after creating carts,
you will be able to see the exact number of items remaining. Also, you can see
the number of items assigned at the top of the page across from Selected Stores.

I hope this helps to explain, although problem #2 is not entirely the same as
it was before. If you have more suggestions or questions, please feel free to
write in to the help desk here: https://www.bricklink.com/helpDesk.asp

Thanks,
Sheryl

Please bring back the ability to select a store and have highlighted the items
available in that store, that feature was extremely useful to get a good overview
of what is available where without needing to go into the carts.

If you have a big parts list, having to go in and out of carts is a slow process.

Thanks for your efforts!

I hate creating carts to see what a store has on my wanted list, then having
all these unused carts that I have to go and delete (and only having store name
to go by, so not always sure I can remember which carts to delete).

Please revert back to the version prior to this latest roll-out.

Thanks

Miffy.

Agree to that. They have taken away the greatest feature in BL.For the moment
I have
stopped used BL untill they bring it back. I spend hours and hours on BL each
day but after this "upgrade" I cant do the things I usually do.

I'm so glad I found this in the forums. I used to be able to create a grid
of images of the items I need, so I can see what I need, and tick or untick the
ones I want to buy now. There doesn't seem to be a way of doing this any
more. Really disappointed in this change.

More functionality lost.

Now, not only do I have no way to compare a store against prices (feature removed
previously), today I can no longer see how much of a wanted list a particular
store is able to fulfill. Nor does it tell me (anymore) how many lots in a wanted
list still require parts.

Easy Buy still wants me to purchase oversees, when I'm certain there are
USA stores that will meet my needs.

Shopping will be even more difficult from a wanted list. Grade: F

I was getting used to the current setup for the buy section, this is worse, yet
another fail. You could have at least kept the last system you had as an option
for using this version of the buying section interface, of course another upgrade
that feels more like a downgrade.

When I click on the wanted list(s) I want to purchase from and then "apply",
I can see the stores with the most unique lots. Are you not able to see this
or are you missing something else?

Is there any way to add a sort feature in the fees page so the orders can
be sorted numerically? They seem to be in a non-sequential order placement and
it takes a bit of time to transfer the info to my record keeping tax spreadsheet.
I thought it had something to do with how and when the orders came in or when
they were invoiced or paid, but I can't seem to figure the order. Then,
if the "Amount" column could be swapped with the "Type" column it would be easier
to enter the info as well. Another option would be to allow the user to decide
on which column fields they wish to see and have the capability to program the
column width in the chart.

Is there a download selected date range to file option that I am not seeing?

I still like the Classic view better, there does not seem to be an option to
switch on the Fees page.
