| There are a number of slow shippers on Bricklink, but bricks are perfect when
they arrive.
I actually like ebay system of being able to rank item/communication/shipping
separately.

Too bad buyers usually ding the seller for less than stellar Postal service.
I had a recent buyer, all but accuse me of slow shipping because Canada Post
took a month to deliver an order i posted the day after they paid.
And just yesterday, I received an order from Europe that took 5 weeks to arrive
...seller's fault for slow shipping? Hardly, they posted it in a timely fashion
a couple of days after payment.
Point is, most buyers will rate the transaction based on their expectations,
not on reality.

Ebay or any star rating system is too subjective, determining what is a 4 or
5 is subjective. It's easier to just say what you mean.
Here you can leave a positive and mention slow shipping. (assuming you mean the
moment of shipping by the seller was slow or when the carrier was slow at processing
the shipment after the seller shipped fast the order).

I think it would be hard to develop a feedback system a buyer can give honest
feedback on BrickLink because buyers and sellers frequently buy and sell to same
person.
It would be interesting to see statistics based on tracking numbers on ship rates
when first collected by the post office. After the post office first touches
the package the seller has no further control over the package. However this
wouldn't work well because so many countries make tracking numbers too costly.
It would work very well for USA, likely not well for any other country.
