| We now need to explain to BL why we are closing our store.
I am closing for a few days this week because I want to get the current orders
out and take a few days off from Lego. The options given don't include that
choice. They do say "vacation" so I'll choose that one.
How about an this for an option: "Just taking some time off".
Really, I don't think I need to explain myself, but whatever, their sandbox.

or "unable to respond to orders due to personal circumstances" (which might be
vacation, or it might be the doctor told you to get yer butt to the hospital
right now, or any of a dozen reasons).

Wow, I didn't realize this is now a thing. It does seems a little absurd!
A seller in good standing absolutely should NOT have to explain why he or
she is closed. Maybe it is just me but I feel like we are being increasingly
micro-managed by the administration. There seem to be a lot of solutions lately
that are in search of a problem.

Yeah this pissed me off last week when I went to close my Store. Honestly, Its
None of BL's Business why I want to close my store. What if I simply want
to close my Store because I feel like it.
They NEED an "OTHER" option with NO explanation or just remove that section all
together. I don't see why its even needed in the first place.
Personally the changes they have made over the last year aren't really ones
I consider important enough to tweak and the ones that should be addressed simple
go without ANY consideration.

I was told it's just for statistics, because they want to learn why sellers
close their stores. They're also considering adding an "Other" reason.
Until then you can still select the last option from the list
