* Add 2 Part 4865b Light Bluish Gray Panel 1 x 2 x 1 with Rounded Corners (Alternate) (match ID 2)
* Change 2 Part Dark Bluish Gray 4865 Panel 1 x 2 x 1 {match ID 0 to 1}
* Change 2 Part Light Bluish Gray 4865 Panel 1 x 2 x 1 {match ID 0 to 2}

Why would the older version of this part still be found in 2016 sets? Are we
sure the original inventory is correct?

Yes, I have confirmed the older variant in every appearance it has made this
year.
I suspect they are getting to the 'bottom of the bin' at Lego and we
are seeing the last of these.

So here's an interesting bit of info to add to the discussion: I just parted
out 5 of these and all of the LBG panels were the newer ones (in contrast to
the set I inventoried, which was purchased at a different retailer), but the
DBG ones were still the older sharp-cornered style.
Perhaps the newer style should be changed to the regular (at least for the LBG)
since it seems to be more prevalent (at least with my admittedly small sample
size), and the older style change to the alternate? Is there a precedent for
such a change?

I inventoried this set and I can confirm that the 4865 were indeed present.
I was a surprised as anyone--I hadn't seen that mold in a long time so
they really stood out to me!
