What is your source for this change? It appears we are right on the edge of the
timeline.

Sealed set contents that I just went through yesterday. 30151b is the new version
of the part that started appearing last year, so I think it would be in the timeline
for a 2015 set that was released a few months ago.

Thanks for the reply, Randy. I caught myself on this part a few months ago. At
the time the Item name of the undetermined version was just "Brick, Round 2 x
2 x 1 2/3 Dome Top" so I think a lot of these were getting into inventories and
people never thought of checking to see if there was another variant. Consequently,
there may be a number of other inventories that are off in this regard.

Yes, it would be really strange as inventory admins can only approve and adjust
inventories, not parts or variants.

Yes, it would be really strange as inventory admins can only approve and adjust
inventories, not parts or variants.

I hope my drawing attention to the item name didn't imply that the name *caused*
me to miss the variant. There are simply a lot of variants I do not know, or
just happen to forget about.
It was actually this part that started me thinking about creating a Problem Variant
list, because I knew I could never remember them all. It was also to cut down
on approval time, since I found myself checking over and over again variants
that were not a problem.

Since the main entry now says "undetermined", there definitely should be an 'a'
variant, but the change in the parts really doesn't affect anything in terms
of functionality.
