| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Add 2 Part 3794 Red Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with 1 Stud (Jumper) (Alternate) (match ID 573052)
Comments from Submitter:
Out of 5 sets that I am currently parting out, 7 out of 10 of these parts are 3794, so listing as alternate.

Hi
Your MID for the alternate is not correct, it is '1'.
Also on the regular part you need to link that MID in a change = '1'.
Use the 'C' format change for the 'inv ID' 573052.

Thanks, Stefaan, for explaining this. It is very common for people to mix up
the the Inv Item ID (essentially an inventory line number, typically 6 digits)
with the Match ID (a number not directly provided to the submitter, usually 1
digit).
Brett, I appreciate you mentioning that you found both variants, and I would
encourage all submitters to include this type of information with their requests.
Remember that messages connected to Inventory Change Requests are now retained
indefinitely in the system. Thanks!
