A couple of years ago I made some changes to this inventory involving the "digger bucket" hinges:

These are a few adjustments to other basic parts that should have accompanied that change, but didn't become apparent until I actually built the model and counted the pieces. Please see steps 12, 14, and 15.
For those of you who don't remember, this inventory was copied directly from that of the 2003 reissue:
and the differences between the two inventories (due to certain parts no longer being available in 2003) had to be accounted for in the 398 inventory. To my knowledge, these are the last of the changes, save the issue of variants.
The string needs to be the thin type - anything else will not make multiple passes through the special 2 x 2 modified plate:
