To take the time and make a suggestion.

I think I remember seeing someone say a note to admin should be responded to.
Some sort of number in line system, or something like that.

One way or another with that, as I think a response within a reasonable time
is proper, even if just one word like no. I have never had occasion to need
a response back for the "main desk" so I can't speak much on what goes on
there.

I believe this should extend to anyone that has a "contact as an _______ admin"
ability.

Some sort of time frame where you either get "we are still thinking" or an answer
within a few working days.

Even "leave me alone" is better than silence.

You want to build trust and involvement have enough people to answer all the
difficult, easy and repetitive questions people may ask.

I don't like using the forum unless I have to when asking questions. I should
not have to read or participate on the main forum at all to get answers regarding
the site.

If I did not have at least three different mail that I have sent to more than
one admin in the last few months through an official contact feature that have
gone unanswered I may not bring this up.

What can I say other that is is quite discouraging and makes me sad.

Please have accountability for all your staff and volunteers that shows itself
as world class as you want your programming to be.
