I really like the part out value in the price guide, but I would love that same
feature where you could not count the minifigs.

I am (slowly) working on collecting the sw line of minifigs, and in the adventure
will part out many sw sets. It would be advantageous to know a part out value
without the minifigs in.

Another place where this would come in handy is if you were considering parting
out a set where the minifigs are a huge part of the value...

Has this been discussed before? (or is it available and i just don't know
how?)

Thanks all.

I didn't realize putting this topic here would create a vote button...not
sure if it's necessary, was more looking for a discussion.

there might be an easier way but you could always

go to part out set and when its time to verify parts just deselect the figures
and you can get the amount for the parts, and just don't add them to your
inventory.

I do it that way too but have on one occasion pressed one button too many and
added the set to our store - a watch out indeed! You can also use the price guide
part our screen to do it if you know the minifig numbers:-

part our set into parts and minifig parts (1)

part out minifigs (2)

then subtract value 2 from value 1

It's a bit clunky but safer

BrickStore will do this, or you could use Excel.

There IS a way to do it, but it isn't as convient as just typing in a set
number.

Find XYZ set in catalog. Click "part out" into inventory. Make sure you only
are using one set and base your prices off what you like to base them off of.
Click submit. Delete the figures. Click verify. Scroll to the bottom and see
the value. Then go to a new tab (like "My Bricklink") so you don't actually
put them in your store.

Like I said. Ain't convient, but it does the job.

I agree, this would make for a very useful feature, especially when in a store
and wanting to the opposite: just selling the minifigs of a set
