Can a note like:

"Some functions on this page only work in Internet Explorer"

be placed below the submit button on this page

http://www.bricklink.com/inventory.asp

It could even be added to the Warning text above.

If every week someone is having trouble putting items on sale... I can only imagine
the hours lost in frustration, when a simple note at the right place can help.

It is clear this quirk is not leaving soon - so lets alert users.

wow first time I hear this. What browsers are people having problems with?

I am using Opera and never had issues. Would be handy to know, shall I ever attempt
using another browser fro BrickLink.

Opera seems to be the only browser that runs on a Mac that works for some of
the functions. So really, the warning should say IE and Opera.

wow first time I hear this.

A forum search of "items on sale" brings up at least 10 posts from people struggling
with this issue. Since "can't" does not work as a search term it is a little
harder to tease out but I sure other term like "inventory update" may lead to
more.

My gut feeling/memory is that the question is posed at least weekly if not 2
or 3x a week. I would guess for every one that asks there may be another who
searches and finds the answer without posting or just gave without posting.

This is like a 5 minute update for Admin.

A search for 'submit changes' gives the answer.

Probably so is fixing the coding error which is causing the problem.
