I was thinking about this when I was adding a lot of parts and sets... I had
this idea of adding this feature to guideline page...

Exclude parts or sets in superlot in price guideline.

Sometimes parts in superlot is really distorted in pricing and I would prefer
not to consider them while pricing my parts.

Also, sometimes it's a waste of time looking in store and finding out its in
some superlot I don't want to buy.

It should be easy enough to add.

I agree. There are a number of improvements that could be made to decrease entries
that skew the price guide.

You can do this: Look at the "My Settings" link on the Price page where you
view prices for new and used items. It is in the top right corner of the page.

Here is the link to the my settings page: http://www.bricklink.com/priceGuideSettings.asp

You can set an option to display an (S) next to an item that is part of a super
lot. I believe you can also exclude super lots when working with wanted lists.

Not bad. It helps a little. I still want this option though.

Yes. For sales average as well. Right now, it's fairly easy to manipulate sales
averages by using superlots. And there is no indication after the fact that a
sale was part of a superlot.
