| Hi everybody,
having read several threads during the last days and weeks where people said
"didn't know about this feature though using BL since many years" or "BL is such
a complex system that it takes a long time to know how eyerything works" I got
the idea to install an additional forum topic named
"Tip of the day!"
Here we could post each day one or two little subject(s) to improve knowledge
of existing features, standards etc.
Sometimes it may be just a thread which may be transferred to this topic (or
re-written to come faster to the point), sometimes it may be only a link to a
help subject etc. etc.
Newbies (and even quite experienced users and forum readers as myself) will become
more acquainted with BL and assuming that these tips will stay at least for six
months as all other posts one could quickly check some topics from time to time
to refresh.
Subjects like
- settings
- wanted lists
- notifications
- updates of inventory (e.g. when setting items on sale)
- consolidating lots in inventories etc. etc.
seem to occur quite often and might be some of topics we could start with.
Your thoughts please?

Hi Troy,
as it would be a normal topic open for everybody so anyone can post (first come,
first serve ).
As already said, it may be a link to a smart answer to anybodies question posted
in another thread or someone might copy question and answer in a new post.
Or just a little entry like:
Do you know there are help texts in foreign languages like French -link- or German
-link-.
That's all. No need to write big posts every day.
And if there is a day with no tip - no problem. Next day there might be two...
It's just to select interesting threads / posts and collect them under this new
topic.
As soon as there is a list of entries these tips may be repeated every 6 months.
