| We would like to see an option to put a standing coupon for returning customers.
Not a 'spam style' coupon per say, but maybe something on the order of;
Return customers get a 5% off their order coupon.
It would be nice to reward returning customers without having to go through every
one and post a coupon (time consuming)
Any other ideas would work as well.
2nd idea;
Really do not want to send emails to all clients, but it would be nice to be
able to mass coupon people (like mass feedback).
Maybe something without notification?

| Sounds excellent as well.
We have done the store closed sale over the past few months with great success.
But we are getting to the point (without lot limits in place) that we were at
2 years ago. Many small orders coming in, and my time is now stretched thin.
I can bring in other members, but that increases the prices! And we are trying
to keep our budget here balanced, and our prices low!
Thank you for the other suggestion.
It would be very helpful to not have to hire back a person to post coupons on
here.
We have tried the following;
. club's for returning members, while worked well was difficult to keep track
of.
. discounts for entire lots purchased! Worked VERY well, but again difficult
to maintain when trying to keep the billing flows going.
. daily discounts, worked horribly! Trying to keep track of people on certain
days with certain discounts just did not work.
. coupons! Worked VERY well, but was time consuming! Going to look back at
it if we can find a way to give coupons faster and easier to clients!

Lower your prices by 5% and charge new customers a fee, same effect
Saves all the hassle with coupons... and no need to wait for this to get implemented,
which could take a year or ten or ...

| I vote no. I ALWAYS vote no to any suggestions to automate or facilitate the
mass issuance of coupons. In the long run, I don't think this would be good for
sellers, buyers or BrickLink. If you want to show returning customers that you
genuinely appreciate their business, taking a few seconds to manually issue a
coupon is not much to ask for. When I go to a store in the real world, it is
so much better when the clerk smiles and actually says "thank you" and hands
me a coupon than if they just press a button and a taped thank you and coupon
are spit out of some machine.
