all the other bands I've listed, its 2 mm thick so I'm not sure if it

Looks like an O ring to me. Is it stiff or does it stretch like a rubber band?
|
Agreed, O ring

The category name "plastic" is odd to me, nearly all LEGO is plastic.
Do I have a better name for the category? nope.
Every time I see one of these parts, I think plastic.

| HI there I'm thinking selling on this website. I wanted to ask a few questions
about it however.
#1 I have "Complete" sets, but there're original bricks are scattered
in my LEGO box. is it right/uncouth to sell something as "complete" if
I put the sets back together again from my vast lego box?
#2 Is a mini figure still "new" if it has been gently taken care of in
a box of other minis, and never been played with and still shinny and unscratched?
any help is appreciated! I would just like to know the "Dos and don'ts"
of selling LEGO's
Cheers Cy Kill's Garage!

LEGO is the same as deer, you don't add an "s" to the end to designate
multiple LEGO
One Deer -- Herd of Deer
One LEGO -- Box of LEGO
One Egg -- Dozen Eggs

Received an order the other day, and within 10 minutes the customer cancelled.
Fair enough, no problem - I cancelled the order.
Today had a message from the "Buyer" to say I had sent them a wrong part

Good try - but no cigar
Have to be alert in this game !!

Odd that the buyer would say black instead of invisible.

at around 50 cents to change the price guide which will force future sellers
of this item to sell this item cheaper.
|
What if I purchase them for 50 cents and relist them on BrickLink at the now
current price?

| Had a buyer do a $100+ order, which was shipped and delivered. Arrived Jan 8.
Buyer marked the order COMPLETED shortly afterward.
Today (Feb 26) I get a note from PayPal that the buyer is initiating a chargeback.
No reply from buyer yet via BL messaging nor from direct email.
I've submitted the tracking number, proof of delivery, and screenshot of
the order marked COMPLETED to PayPal in response to their alert. Haven't
heard back from them yet, either.
What other options do I have, other than stop listing the buyer (which I've
done now)?
ALSO: I know from Facebook discussions that at least one other store got the
same chargeback alert today regarding the same buyer with an order around the
same time as mine.

| Has anyone had any problems with refunds recently? I had an order for 18
and it somehow got put in to a large box instead of medium. So I refunded the
buyer $4 for the overage yesterday. Today I was buying shipping for last night's
orders and noticed on paypal a refund for $21.35. If it were $3, $5, or heck,
even $40 I might understand that being a fat finger situation; but $21.35 is
kind or precise.
Is there any way to remedy this or am I just going to have to eat it?
|
The paypal refund includes sales tax.
Is 21.35 the amount that came out of your account or the total refund to the
buyer?
Unless the buyer sends you back the excessive refund, you are eating the difference.

I think they're probably fake. The plastic slag on the shoulder stocks isn't
something I've seen on any of the rifles.

I've seen plenty of the flintlock rifles with the slag on them from sets
pre 2000.

The reddish brown version wasn't made until 2011.

If you've had them for that long, I'd rather vote for genuine - Lego
parts without logo were a thing in the 20th century, and the really well-made
fakes, barely distinguishable from the originals, seem to me a more recent problem.
But that's just my feeling, would need a more serious Lego historian to put
a verified date to that...

Playmobil has been making toys for a long time.

They don't look real to me. However additional photos would be needed to
make a decision.
The trigger loop looks off, the sights are inconsistent, no circle mark underneath
the hammer.

I don't think I would sell them in my store.
