Not all of the previous BAM seem to be listed?

I can find "La Catrina" from several sellers, but I could not find the
skeleton mariachi guys.

Can a seller retaliate by leaving me negative feedback if I file NSS?

I bought a couple of Batman minifigs from a seller. Some are listed as NEW and
some USED.

Got my shipment, and two of the NEW minifigs came with somewhat frayed capes.
Obviously not new but these will be displayed behind a frame so I will let those
pass.

However, one of the NEW minifigs has a cracked cowl on the chin and obvious white
stress marks at the corners of the chinstrap.

I sent the seller a message through BL (now already marked as "read"
but no response. I did also send him a direct email with the photos.

I am thinking giving him a couple more days to a week to reply, and if not then
I will file a NSS case.

Can I still get an order canceled after it has been invoiced?

I wanted to order a set which was listed as having a badly damaged box and the
contents are now just in polybags. So I just assumed that the shipping would
be under $20 or so. But when I got the invoice, shipping is a whopping $40+++.

I just ordered a different set which had an intact box from a seller further
away and the shipping was about $17. And ordered another one prior to that, and
likewise.

$40 is just quite much.

I already messaged the seller to cancel the order mutually, but if he does not
agree, do I not have any other option but to pay up this order?

Thanks!

CASE CLOSED.

No, the seller did not have any shipping spelled out on his info page.

In this case though, the box was supposedly still viable though tattered so he
priced out the original shipping cost with the box. I told him I just needed
the new parts for a MOC.

He got back to me real quick then edited his original invoice and shipping went
down by almost 50%.

I already paid for this order just about a few minutes ago. Case closed. Thanks
for your replies, nonetheless.

Some sellers list the exact same item multiple times. I am trying to purchase
items from my parts list of about 200+ items and sometimes a single seller supposedly
has 1000+ items on that list of mine!

When I click on the "min" link to populate the quantity, I sometimes
spend more time unclicking those boxes for duplicates.

Is there a quick way to bypass these multiple listings???

Might anyone have any suggestion for a Y-connector so that an elephant figure
can have two tusks on each side? I'm trying to make a Mumakil (war elephant
from LOTR), and I'm using that "War Elephant" MOC on Rebrickable.
Thanks for any help!

This is probably a question for SW fans out there:

There's an upcoming set, the Inquisitor Transport Scythe with three inquisitor
minifigs.

I believe the Fifth Brother from that set is a remake of the SW0747 from set
75157.

Is the Grand Inquisitor a remake as well? There was a minifig SW0622 from set
75082 which was only named "The Inquisitor." Are they the same character?

Yes--more delays to come. I just received my weekly message pushing the
delivery date out to August now. I love the Designer Program, but it still has
a few hiccups.

Got another delay notice yet again.

It’ll be just in time for Christmas by the time it ships in 2023.

Shouldn't the refund be to the original form of payment?

I am based out of the US and bought an item from a Canadian seller who falsely
advertised a particular color of a minifig hairpiece. It can happen, and the
seller claims to be color-blind. :s

I asked for a refund. Took 14+ days or so because of "his bank."

I used PayPal to pay. He issued a refund through a website called Interac which
is giving me options to transfer funds into a Canadian bank!

I have to open a Canadian bank account to receive a $6 refund for a wrongly labeled
minifig hair piece?

Should I just file a PayPal refund? or a NSS? He appears cooperative but seems
clueless about what's going on. He states that he does not understand why
I could not get my money back.

Any thoughts?

Any tips for packing modulars for a house move?

I've collected about 8+ modulars over the course of the past year and have
held off on assembling them knowing that I will be moving 2500 miles out of state
and back in that time frame. However, I've assembled three MOCs and would
hate to have to disassemble them and find time to put them back together after
the final move.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

I literally put assembled sets in thin office trashbags and then stack them in
boxes, they don't really fall apart.

Boxed stuff is a pain, pain pain pain.

I have three of the large boxes (e.g., Disney Train and Station) here at my apartment.
I don't know how I'll ship them back home??? - they don't fit in
any of the UPS boxes!

Can a positive comment still be changed if the transaction is still not complete?
Can I still file a claim about an order after this comment has been placed?

I ordered from a seller about a month ago. A week after, the status has not changed
and I sent a message. Seller states that her children were ill. Alright, I could
understand and I was patient with that, and she was apologetic about it. It took
about ten days until she said she had already shipped it. However, she left the
status as "packed."

Two weeks later, I ask about this order and apparently, she had not shipped it
out at all. She posted the tracking info and it states that a label had just
been created! That was already two days ago!

The problem is, I will be moving out of my apartment in less than three weeks!
I informed the seller about this, and she gave no reply!

hand-held weaponry (as opposed to historical, fantasy or science-fiction types)
are always slightly disturbing, though I harbour no ill-will to their creators

Ban Star Wars first. And Marvel. And DC. From Lego.
Replace all guns in existing sets with flowers. And carrots.
How about that?

A couple factors could cause this.

If you paid with bank transfer, the funds could be held by PayPal until they
fully clear.
If the account is new for the seller, PayPal will hold funds for xx days to ensure
they aren't a scammer.

That makes sense - seller is a newbie.

In NEWS, Admin writes:

We’re pleased to announce the third round of crowdfunding for the BrickLink Designer Program will open May 17th at 10:00am Pacific / 7:00pm CET / 6:00pm UTC. We invite LEGO fans to pre-order their favorites among nine fan projects on the BrickLink Designer Program page.
The first five projects to reach the goal of 3,000 pre-orders will be produced as a limited edition set. Up to 10,000 of each will be produced based on pre-orders received from registered BrickLink members. Round 3 crowdfunding will close at 10:00am Pacific on June 21.
Here are the candidates for the third and final round of crowdfunding, along with their prices:

Mountain View Observatory by ThomasW_BL for $319.99
Space Troopers by nickroyer for $199.99
1950s Diner by pix027 for $129.99
Studgate Train Station by BrickyBricks82 for $399.99
Working Waterfall by TheKingOfLego for $229.99
Steam Powered Science by EndlessAges for $299.99
Winter Chalet by sdrnet for $199.99
Modular Construction Site by ryantaggart for $319.99
Brickwest Studios by BrickyBricks82 for $349.99

Round 1 of crowdfunding was held during the summer of 2021 and Round 2 in fall 2021. This third and final round of crowdfunding concludes the BrickLink Designer Program invitational where up to 15 out of 26 projects will ultimately be realized across the three rounds.
Designer Program sets will feature digital building instructions provided by the LEGO Building Instructions mobile app. Digital instructions help us fulfill our Planet Promise by using less paper and saving on shipping weight, which in turn reduces emissions while delivering your set to you. The app lets you zoom, rotate, and view your model in 3D and ghost view mode to see how far you’ve come and what part you’re in the process of building. The LEGO Building Instructions app is great at keeping track of complex builds and makes it easy to save your building steps online so you can recycle instruction books.
PDF building instructions will also be made publicly available when sets begin shipping.
Sincerely,

The BrickLink Designer Program Team

Why is this the "final" round? Will there be another set of rounds for 2022???

Is there a quick way to delete recently ordered/ received items from a wanted
list?

I know there's that button towards the end of an invoice to "add back" items
to a wanted list, but I can't find a quick way to tick off purchased items
from a wanted list.
