In the same boat here. Everything's grayed out and I can't add shipping
costs or invoice.

You indeed have a maximum in your store. I tried it with the highest price item
you have
And get:
Order restrictions not met
Shipping method Shipping
Minimum Buy CA $10.00
Maximum Buy CA $350.00

I think it's in your shipping settings somewhere

There are no maximum amount in money you can set.

There is a minimum and a lot average minimum ans a lot maximum you can set for
your store.

You do that under your store setting, management.

I've been having the same issue with at least 3 orders since this was posted.
I can't add a shipping charge to invoice because of a pop up ""you cannot
change prices" ...

I end up emailing the client outside of Bricklink.

Can you put the order in "Ready" status? If it is in paid status all the boxes
are disabled for me as well.

Wonder what would happen if I print T-Shirts with my shop logo on them and sell
them on here at a vastly inflated price so my store can be sponsored. That way
buyers can pay to advertise for me and I get a free "shout out" every time they
wear it, same as with Nike, Levi etc. Sounds like a better option

I know, right?

Every time I buy a new vehicle, I always tell the dealer not to put their logo
on the car, or take it off if they already have. They ask, "Why?" I tell them,
I'm paying for the vehicle and you're not paying me to advertise.

One dealer laughed and gave me another $2,000 discount. I figured $500 a month
was fair, then I took it off. The others just sneered.

I once bought a large lot of figures off an 11 year old who was selling them
on another sites marketplace. The kid had Paypal and even went to the post office
and posted it for me. Properly packed too! what a trooper!

Haha Actually I had the same thing, from a buyer who was more serious about
this - not underage and quite a lot of subscribers. Still, I had to refuse and
explain all this social media stuff means nothing to me, and I just like to get
paid for my work

On the flip side, you have to admire their cunning and entrepreneurialism at
that age lol. I wish I was that enterprising at 14.

I have had a similar incident where they claimed to be a youtube influencer with
big following of potential customers which they wanted me to drop ship to at
discounted pricing? I was also curious but upon requesting a link they never
actually provided anything to support that claim

I thought there was a vetting process through bricklink on accounts or there
used to be. Minimum age for an account was 18, it would be interested to see
out of all these new buyers, and there are a ton, since Covid breakout, how many
are of actual age allowed by bricklink. I’m betting a good many are school age
kids who may be ordering.

Scott

Back in the day, I used my parents ordered for me and I got my own account when
I turned 18. I would bet at least 30% of accounts are underage right now. I was
running in that community for a bit and I knew many sellers that were underage
and many more buyers that were as well.

I think 30% is even conservative, my guess is better than 1/2 and kids nowadays
already have PayPal accounts etc.. I can tell just by the verbage in some of
the messages I receive from buyers.

Bricklink have ignored my concerns in regard to quote function
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1197606

If you have sent the quote, the only way you can cancel it is to remove
one part in the quote from your inventory. Otherwise the buyer can accept and
then pay it right away.
