There seems to be two versions of

Part No: 60596 Name: Door Frame 1 x 4 x 6 with Two Holes on Top and Bottom
*
60596 Door Frame 1 x 4 x 6 with Two Holes on Top and Bottom
Parts: Door Frame {Bright Pink}
. One with four hollow studs and one
with only two (and two solid studs). Could a note be added or the part split
into two variants?

I see that someone added a set of white airtanks to

Minifig No: airdg001 Name: Fire - Air Gauge and Pocket, Light Gray Legs and Black Hips, Underwater Helmet with Hose
*
airdg001 (Inv) Fire - Air Gauge and Pocket, Light Gray Legs and Black Hips, Underwater Helmet with Hose
Minifigs: Town: Classic Town: Fire
back in 2004.
What could the reason be for this? There are no visible airtanks on this minifigure
in the instructions for the set it belongs so

Set No: 2774 Name: Airshow (Red Tiger)
*
2774-1 (Inv) Airshow (Red Tiger)
118 Parts, 3 Minifigs, 1999
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Airport
. Peeron and Brickset mentions
only one set of airtanks for this set not two like BL currently has.

During my recent addition of instructions for

Gear No: G31314DkNo Name: Racers Super Speedway Board Game (Danish/Norwegian)
*
G31314DkNo (Inv) Racers Super Speedway Board Game (Danish/Norwegian)
Gear: Game: Racers
, the part I created
for the instructions was converted to an instructions entry which seems fair.

But this indicates that these instructions

[G=GA11NoDkinst]

that I previously created should also be converted from gear to instructions
for set

Gear No: GA11NoDk Name: Legepladsen, tællespil for førskolebørn / Lekeplassen, tellespill for førskolebarn (dan-spil)
*
GA11NoDk (Inv) Legepladsen, tællespil for førskolebørn / Lekeplassen, tellespill for førskolebarn (dan-spil)
Gear: Game: Duplo

Can an administrator perform this task?

But what does "2016" and "2016a" mean? Could a note be made on the part?

Hello

I just bought one of these sets today. The box was opened, but all parts (except
the large parts that usually don't come in bags) were in sealed bags, and
the set seems more or less complete (see notes below). But:

1) This set does not contain sets 4606, 4609, 4604, and 4600 like the current
inventory claims. The box does contain all bricks for building these sets, but
the bags are mixed (e.g. all small pieces from all four sets are in one bag),
and there are no original instructions or original boxes from those four sets.
The snventory should for this set should therefore be a regular inventory which
happen to contain almost the same parts as those four sets. Sorry, but someone
else will need to take on the job, as I don't have time to do it myself.
2) The small bag of parts contain only the regular items from the four sets.
There are no extra parts. Also no extra rubber bands from set 4604 (why are there
two extra rubber bands in that set but no regulars?)
3) Instructions included in the box is a four page book showing various stages
from the builds as photos. I'll do a proper scan next week and add it to
BL.
4) The 2x2x2 slope is not smooth. Although not much, the sloping side has some
texture as shown in the attached image.

I just noticed that there are two variants of part

Part No: 30602 Name: Slope, Curved 2 x 2 Lip
*
30602 Slope, Curved 2 x 2 Lip
Parts: Slope, Curved {Dark Blue}
. One with a thin
back wall (seems to be most common) and one with thick back wall. Could a note
be made on the part or should a variant be made?

Could a note be written on the 160ac* parts, specifically

[P=160ac01]
[P=160ac02]

Part No: 737ac01 Name: Plate, Modified 2 x 4 with Train Coupler Open for Magnet with Same Color Magnet Coupling, Train - 7mm Cylinder (737a / x547b)
*
737ac01 (Inv) Plate, Modified 2 x 4 with Train Coupler Open for Magnet with Same Color Magnet Coupling, Train - 7mm Cylinder (737a / x547b)
Parts: Plate, Modified {Red}

Part No: 737ac02 Name: Plate, Modified 2 x 4 with Train Coupler Open for Magnet with Blue Magnet Coupling, Train - 7mm Cylinder (737a / x547b)
*
737ac02 (Inv) Plate, Modified 2 x 4 with Train Coupler Open for Magnet with Blue Magnet Coupling, Train - 7mm Cylinder (737a / x547b)
Parts: Plate, Modified {Red}

, that although it's tempting to use the amount of magnet visible to guess
the variant (the current BrickLink images show a clear difference between amount
of magnet visible between the two types), it shouldn't be done, as this image
shows. Only the top part is the "long cylinder" variant.

Once more I've bought a lot of bricks, and I sorted out the sets found among
them. Just like last time I did this, there was not a single

Part No: 48729 Name: Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claw
*
48729 Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claw
Parts: Bar {Dark Bluish Gray}
(without
hole) in the whole lot, but a lot of missing ones according to the current inventories,
and about the same number of leftover claws WITH hole. My last lot was about
5 times as big, and it had the same problem. This leaves me to believe that many
inventories are wrong with respect to these parts. I strongly urge you to rename
the old part to "unknown" type and add the version without hole as a new part.
That way, all sets containing this part will be forced to be re-checked and updated
to the correct part, thereby fixing MANY wrong inventories.

About two weeks ago, I added a correction sheet instructions image for set 8420.
That change is still pending. Are you waiting for me to do something?

Working with sets

Set No: 8144 Name: Ferrari 248 F1 Team (Schumacher Edition)
*
8144-1 (Inv) Ferrari 248 F1 Team (Schumacher Edition)
692 Parts, 8 Minifigs, 2007
Sets: Racers: Ferrari
and

Set No: 8654 Name: Scuderia Ferrari Truck
*
8654-1 (Inv) Scuderia Ferrari Truck
794 Parts, 6 Minifigs, 2005
Sets: Racers: Ferrari
, I have noticed that there are at
least two versions of the Ferrari logo stickers to be put on part

Part No: 50373pb01 Name: Wedge 3 x 4 with Stud Notches with Ferrari Logo Pattern on Both Sides (Stickers)
*
50373pb01 Wedge 3 x 4 with Stud Notches with Ferrari Logo Pattern on Both Sides (Stickers)
Parts: Wedge, Decorated {Red}
Marked for Deletion

Stickers from set 8144 er wider and has a larger Ferrari logo than the stickers
from set 8654.

I don't have the time to dig into this issue (the stickered parts are in
more sets that I don't own), but I hope someone will take on the job. I've
attached photos of the two different parts I've found and references to the
sticker sheets (black square highlights the relevant stickers).

Hi

Yesterday, I uploaded a scan of an overview sheet that come with 7237 sets. This
was accepted. Should the number of instruction booklets be changed to 8, or could
a note be added so it's more visible that this extra sheet exists?

Some time ago, I added a picture for part

Part No: 2214 Name: Duplo Fence Railing with 5 Posts
*
2214 Duplo Fence Railing with 5 Posts
Parts: Duplo {Orange}
, medium orange. It's hard
to tell the exact color on the image, but I've now found out that the part
I took a photo of is in fact Bright Light Orange. Can the image be switched to
that color or must it be deleted and uploaded again?

The note on parts

Part No: 4515pb034L Name: Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Left (Sticker) - Set 7676
*
4515pb034L Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Left (Sticker) - Set 7676
Parts: Slope, Decorated {White}
and

Part No: 4515pb034R Name: Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Right (Sticker) - Set 7676
*
4515pb034R Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Right (Sticker) - Set 7676
Parts: Slope, Decorated {White}
state that

"This slope and the slope for the opposite side have been shown on either side
of the craft depending on whether one views the box art or the instructions;
therefore the "right" and "left" designation may be considered arbitrary."

This is not correct. The difference between the instructions and the box is not
only that the slopes are switched around, the stickers are also upside down when
comparing the box to the instructions. So left/right is not interchangable. It
actually means that there ought to be four counterparts for these stickers. Two
for each sticker - one for each orientation of the stickers.

Could someone at least fix the note?

Hi

Could a note be made on set 7671? At least two versions of the instructions exist
- one on lego.com and one on brickinstructions.com, and the latter (shown in
the left side of the attached picture) shows a wrong build. The cone won't
fit in this case.
