Didn't get blocked from using the API. was just using excel to pull some
of the store ranking list. My guess is I pulled to much in the amount of time
allowed so to BL it looked like a cyber attack.

No, it's a question of excessive number of queries, server load, etc.
See BL Terms?

I guess if it's minor, your IP will be unbanned tomorrow after BrickLink
midnight 00:00 EDT, in 5+ hours.

I don't know what to do next. The order has been packed for a week now.
I have already paid. The seller has read my messages, but has not responded.

should i report problem with the order with the link on the order detail form?
should I reverse the charge on paypal?

File an NSS (Non-Shipping Seller) alert and start a PayPal claim.

I do still want the order, and the seller has shipped out orders recently, but
most with complaints.

Most with complaints???

I don't want to burn the bridge because I still want to order.

You mean, you're ready to lose your money?

You paid and seller didn't ship neither reply to messages or e-mails???

File IMMEDIATELY an NSS (especially due to "Most with complaints".

It's just an Alert which means the seller "Hey, could you ship this!?".

There's no bridge notion. If the seller have had a life incident and can't
ship, he'll understand your concern. If not, it's a scam, a bozo, or
such.

Later on, PayPal claim.

But, how then did you post this?

I assume they were blocked from using the API. They still have buying and selling
privileges.

Oh OK, but then, did they read the API Terms?
I'd say no.

Hoping you'll give me free shipping!

Of course! My GPT-driven robot is packing your New¹ toilet paper in bubble wrap
right now.

¹ Brand new from the wholesaler, only displayed in a small windowless room.

So GPT stands for Global Paper Toilet? I didn't know. Thanks!

Easy buy is so broken. It picked a store and set up the cart with 122 lots.
The store has an 80 lot limits. Also, the seller has multiple lots of 1ea and
of course I need multiples, so unnecessary lots are added when they could be
consolidating them when they add them. And some can argue that it's just
how they do things and have them in different places when they part them out,
but when you keep the same part in multiple locations it is an inefficient usage
of space.

TY for reading. Rant over, carry on.

It's stupid because lot Remarks can be consolidated or appended, so you don't
need to make multiple lots.

But the more often the price's different for each of the same lot because
they calculate the value for each part out (for ex) depending the set buying
price...

I can understand this for big lots, like bulkers or big shops, who have multiple
lots of a few thousands parts - but I also hate it when I see it for lots of
1
or a few in qty.

About EasyBuy, it's already a huge problem to solve, so having to take care
of the number of lots and deduplicate, I guess it's a no go...

I also guess we're right now at the maximum it can do in term of CPU / calculation
time.
Just IMHO.

I use the "Part Out" feature to create a wanted list with every part
in a set, then go through my collection and "find" all the parts until
I have enough to build it.

But the Counterparts (items with stickers or images on them already) never get
included in the list. So I have to go to the Bricklist set Inventory and add
them 1 by 1.

There is a tickbox in "part out" for "Extra parts" but not "Counterparts".
Often these parts have the same Part Number as the inventory but with a suffix
"pb001" or similar.

Is it possible to do what I'm wanting?

No, there is no way to add Counterparts from a part out. There is no system to
link them to the parts in the Regular inventory and therefore no way to ensure
you don't add duplicate items.

BrickLink should add a separate feature for this specific process. But that would
require new programming... it's not likely.

I would bet it can be done with Brickstore? Perhaps an experienced user can weigh
in.

I confirm, you do this and more really easily with BrickStore.

No.
It's optional, you can't enforce an option.

"Feedback is how you let other members know how well a transaction went."
So, if you're not interetsed to let other members know, you don't have
to.

Completed - same.

Buyer PAYS for some goods, seller ships, buyer receives, he's happy, he's
nothing else to do.

It's an abnormal/problematic shop.

Open NSS Alert.

Open PayPal Claim.

Report the shop:

Then you can say:

Scary mindset. It's one thing that you champion such for you and yours, but
to advocate it more broadly is worrisome to those that are not of that somewhat
troublesome mindset. Evidenced by the (satirical) Starship Troopers movie
you invoke, meaning of which has apparently failed to permeate It's meant
to show the absurdity of that statement, iow.

I'm a fan of Heinlein, have MANY of his books, and I know how to read his
words at 2nd or 3rd level.
Otherwise, at 1st level it's pretty stupid, but that's what's genious
in how he writes.

And the Starship Troopers is a GOOD movie to represent this book.
At the 1st level, it's action and dumb - but then it's a far deeper movie

Apart this, OP member have difficulties, and the shop seems toxic.
NSS, Claim, Report - and he already gave the shop a Negative, which is pretty
brave.
Bravo!

Sensible. Put it forward as a Suggestion post, I say.

No, as said, because Completed means:
"Completed - Package received, contents verified, the order is completed."

And some sellers (like me) give feedback as soon as shipped, and some buyers
even before...

Transaction is completed: neither BrickLink or the seller can't decide this
- whatever the algorithm is.

Buyer paid for something, he has to say the final word, or don't - it's
not even mandatory.

My second BL glitch in 48 hours. The other one was an order item that my records
and my BL emails prove I sold about 6 weeks ago, but appeared in a new order.
I know it's an error listing because the Retain Lots was NOT enabled and
pretty much 100 percent of my inventory items have Retain Lots turned ON.

Already said: do you have recent invxml.txt files downloaded and timestamped
to check and compare?

Or BrickStore files?

If not, it's very possibly an human error, or a inventory sync in between
platforms?

I could verify 2 BrickLink cases where it increased our Inventory of a lot in
almost 5 years. So 2 in 48hrs, sur that can happen, but far more probably something
else.

Stickers, printer ink...

Fees aren't forbidden.

Of course, while $0.75 is super correct, 10% seems more to be an abuse of fees,
or a BrickLink fees avoidance.

This said off context, with the few info (and no number) you gave us.
