do that, you can't juts set it on the stand and have it work instantly

Does anyone have any information about this figure? I have been unable to find
any set that this comes in, and if that is the case I am not sure why it was
added to the catalog.
At first I thought it was added to the catalog as a figure with a cape variation
of an older figure. But the torso seems to be unique so I am not sure that's
the case.
I could easily just be missing something though. Can anyone help me out here?
-Pete
|
Well I think I found it in 76209.
So now my question changes to Does anyone know why the catalog entry says "Juniors"
on the figure?
-Pete
|
Seems to be because it has this kind of cape
But it is not named Juniors anywhere, just single hole.
|
Since the cape is typically used in Juniors sets that may be why it says it?

I guess it's possible because apparently the creator of this MOC is used
to doing unorthodox stuff as we can clearly see that he is using a non-LEGO part
on the second photo (the cone)
... unless there IS a windscreen of this exact shape ?
|
Given the fact the nose cone doesn't look LEGO either, I'd assume it's
not. Also since there was your other post, I'd believe the designer used
a lot of non-LEGO

| What got me on the new Bricklink Survey was the "What else can we do to improve
Bricklink" question. If LEGO really wants to help everyone involved (consumers,
sellers, and themself) they should really do something to promote Bricklink.
The most they have done is the BL Designer Program and even that was not promoted
anywhere except for the homepage of Bricklink. They have a massive fanbase but
never (at least from what I know) have even mentioned Bricklink in an advertisement,
Twitter/Instagram post, etc. They should at least do something... Offer a promotion
to new Bricklink members, VIP Points, a discount code, SOMETHING to promote BL.
It's not like it would only benefit sellers either... Sellers would be happy
for more business, buyers would be happy to have access to retired or rare parts/sets/minifigs
that LEGO doesn't sell anymore, and LEGO would be happy to be getting more
business. Sellers would be paying LEGO for every sale in the fees, PLUS it would
give them (LEGO) data on what people purchase, and most of all, it draws attention
to their brand and the people who help make it what it is. I just don't get
why LEGO has done nothing to bring attention to Bricklink under their ownership.
It's so annoying as a LEGO fan to see no attention brought to this wonderful
website and the wonderful members who have dedicated a part of their life to
this hobby, product, and company.
Rant over, have a great rest of your day.

Discount codes / a VIP point system would be terrible on BL, as it’s individual
sellers.

That part is several parts glued together. came out in 2012 and that's
a pretty normal lead time. For Indominus Rex, they changed the back to put the
spikes on it, but the belly is the same piece that T-Rex had used a lot of times
by then.

Any knockoffs to be aware of? Thanks

Here’s mine to show color next to lbg and dbg, should be slightly darker than
the former. Also the LEGO group logo can be found between the legs on the bottom
of it. Oddly enough, mine says 2010. (The logo is also on top of the main body’s
studs.)
