Please notices that LEGO Group does not do acquisitions.

We should all be proud to join The LEGO Group. Yes I am sure things will change.
With LEGO backing us we will only become a stronger brand. They have also stated
that they will preserve and develop the platform.

We (the users of BL) do NOT join The Lego Group. The owner sold his company to
TLG and got a fair price for it I reckon. Lego will turn BL into a button on
their website.
That is what Lego will most likely do; and have some big time sellers here benefit
from their overstock (= dead money being wasted). That will influence pricing
statistics and the possibilities for small shops like mine and many more.
TLG doesn't endorse the reselling platforms like BL, BO and other. The let
it live for as long it doesn't harm their revenues. Sure, the AFOL program
made clear that there is another market for selected sets. Like the first Factory
sets or like this one:

Set No: 10190 Name: Market Street
*
10190-1 (Inv) Market Street
1236 Parts, 3 Minifigs, 2007
Sets: Modular Buildings: Factory

Aftersale marketprices are a multitude of the pricing of the original.

When TLG can make money on that, it wíll.

So I might be biased by the way TLG has looked at community sites like this one.
I don't know.
I guess waiting in the middle is a valid option.
Leaving BL and moving to BO is also a valid option.
Applauding is just a valid option too.

Speculation on what the future will bring will go on for the next days, weeks,
months. And then suddenly there will be changes all over the place.

I am not sure what option I prefer.....

And that was the moment when John volunteered to let the employees know that
there was going to be a slumber party, next Tuesday, in Irvine. All the coders
were to be invited.

Little did he know, the coders were plotting their revenge...

This one I will remember for a long time

I am making backups this MONDAY. I strongly recommend you do too.

No, sets without boxes are incomplete.

Mmm, I have never seen the box listed as an item of the set when I hit an inventory
button of a set ("Item consist of"-link).
When selecting any box of a set, the "Item consists of" says "N/A".

Looks to me the logic behind the catalogue supports the "Complete" description
may be without the box.

BUT - you do not take payment onsite and instantly - you are prepared to take
your time to invoice, wait for the payment as well as take your time to ship.
So you and the buyer both get to ease into the order like. On the other hand
if you were to sit on the money for 7 days for doing nothing don't you think
an NSS will perhaps get you off your backside and busy in your shop instead of
buying groceries wih money you've not yet earned?

Nope. It would upset me to see someone being that impatient. Impatience makes
people behave only interested in ones own benefit. That saddens me.

And yes, I have chosen that kind of order handling on purpose. To prevent impatience
on both sides. BUT, not explicetly putting this in ones terms, doesn't mean
you can stamp your feet and screaming NOW NOW NOW! (or more precise LESS THAN
A WEEK! LESS THAN A WEEK!).

This kind of behaviour puts people on edges they don't need nor want to be.
Cool down, sit back, observe nature and learn from it. Nature is far more superior
than out brains.
