Oddly, a catalog search of 60474 shows 2 are present in 6242-1, however when you view the item inventory for 6242-1 (or part it out), part 60474 does not display.

Hi,
is part of the assembly [P=61485c01] together with so when
you part this set out you end up with either 2 parts of 60474 together with 2
parts of 61485 or you have two parts of the assembly.

inventory is correct as it stands.
This is a new set with the same number ... can you submit it to the catalog as
4962-2 as it has a new figure and also check that the other parts to see if they
are newer versions than those in the inventory for 4062-1.

These are [P=3070b] Trans Red Tile but there are only 2 in the regular inventory

My set had 1 Regular and 3 extra. Extras are just that extras - some sets have
them and some do not, some sets have more, some sets have less.

There are two sets of instructions for this set - I have a pending Inventory
Change Request from keithkram (13030) and I would need to have a copy of the
parts list for the set that requires all these changes. My set that I bought
here in America is the same as the inventory. Perhaps you could send me a scan

I don't know why the request at http://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=169942 was approved. This set *only* contains 2 of each of the parts in question, and they are used on the Eris minifig as shown in the building instructions. I personally verified this inventory last year, and made many requests to ensure it was correct.

The parts list has 4 is this a misprint by Lego or should there have

I have checked 6 of these sets, (by weighing them, using a digital scale that reads to 1000x0.01g) and none have this extra part, which leads me to conclude that the original inventory submission is wrong.
However, my sets came from the UK's version of May issue Legends of Chima comic, which is possible that the inventory has changed.

Hi Paul,
The submitter of the inventory assured me that he did indeed have an extra mask,
and extras are just that - extras. They are not part of the regular inventory
and some sets may have them and other sets not. Extras are just that and they
may or may not be included in a set, and quantity of extras may vary from set
top set.

This set CANNOT be built with part 4150pb148, so it is highly unlikely that this part was ever included. The center, bottom stud holder on 14769pb004 is essential to the build. A prior inventory change request moved part 4150pb148 to the alternate, but it just needs to be removed.

I have been in touch with the original submitter of the inventory and he had
one of each and in his set. I tried with both parts
and the build can be made successfully. I did not encounter any problem with
either part.
If you take another look at the Inventory Change Request that exists you will
see that the submitter was merely changing the regular part and the alternate
part quantity from 1 to 2 in order to correct the inventory.
In view of the above reply I will not be removing part 4140pb148 from the set
and your inventory change request has been denied.

Fact is it can be built with regardless of the pb suffix.
However in my opinion 4150 probably never came with a printed eye pattern but
I will check further.

How about an option to hide/ unhide variant parts while browsing the catalogue?
Maybe I don't care to see how many versions of the same piece exists, because
it may or may not have a stud notch, or may or may not have bottom tubes, and
so on.
Unless you can already and I'm missing it!? :p

Now, I would vote for that as well as an option to include / exclude counterparts
when viewing inventories. Because I certainly don't care to look at all those
stickered parts. The sticker sheet is already included in the inventory and on
the off chance I need a stickered part they can all be found by entering the
set number in the search.
